Solitaire Antics FAQ

The cards are an ugly shade of yellow.
Some high-color and true-color video drivers, especially in Windows 95, misinterpret our color commands and produce this ugly color. The fastest way to restore the cards to their normal colors is to change your display to 256 colors. You can also solve this problem by downloading and installing our patch.

How do I get back to "normal" solitaire?
The solitaire version that some people consider to be "normal" solitaire is Klondike. This is also the version displayed when you first install and play the game. To return to Klondike, go to the Game menu, choose Pick Another, then select Klondike and click OK.

The CD player isn't working.
The CD player is designed to play music CDs under Windows 3.1x. (Windows 95 has its own built-in CD player.) To make the CD Player work, you must load a Windows 3.1 driver. To load the driver:
  1. Go to the Main program group and double-click Control Panel.
  2. In Control Panel, double-click Drivers.
  3. In Drivers, click the Add button.
  4. In the Add window, highlight [MCI] CD Audio, then click OK.

The program or my system just acts strange.
Run ScanDisk.
